We are super excited that PRELOADED and the BBC have been included in the the Creative Review Annual 2019, one of the most respected and trusted awards in the creative industry. This recognition honours BBC Earth: Life in VR for creating an informative and entertaining experience by combining the latest technology with engaging storytelling.

The PRELOADED team created BBC Earth: Life in VR in collaboration with BBC Studios. This groundbreaking virtual reality experience – which also won Best VR/AR at the Google Play Awards in 2018 – enables users to experience life in Monterey Bay, off the California coast, allowing them to dive with sea otters, explore natural habitats and learn about the ocean’s diverse ecosystems.

“We’re thrilled to be included in the prestigious Creative Review Annual 2019 for the second year in a row,” said Jessica Taylor, Managing Director of PRELOADED. “The development of BBC Earth: Life in VR challenged what is considered possible in mobile VR and opened up a world of possibilities for educational VR experiences.”

The Creative Review Annual celebrates cutting-edge work, honouring boththose who create it and commission it. PRELOADED – in partnership with Tate – won Best in Book in 2018 last year for Modigliani: The Ochre Atelier experience, which transported viewers to the artist’s final studio in Paris.
