The eSkootr Championship™ (eSC) has appointed PRELOADED to produce a gamified second screen viewing experience for fans.

The eSC second screen app will give fans real time insight into the thrills of eSC races and the S1-X eSkootr. By holding their device to their main screen, viewers will get stats about each rider including their heart rate, speed and lean angle, as well as receiving live text commentary about the status of the race with the ability for fans to engage through likes and dig deeper into the rider profiles. eSC and PRELOADED have created a solution which will enable sport to own the second screen immersive experience – irrespective of which screen is the first screen.

The eSC racing series is about bringing fans closer to the action, and the PRELOADED app will strengthen fan access and interaction with an immersive experience that will provide users with new ways to enjoy the thrills of this new micromobility sport.

Hrag Sarkissian, eSkootr Championship™ co-founder and CEO, said: “eSC will be a unique form of racing, and we want to give fans as much information as possible about what our riders are experiencing on track. We have partnered with PRELOADED to help us take the fan into the heart of the action through a second screen experience that will allow viewers to interact with the main broadcast by accessing stats in real-time about each rider’s performance, and engage with our online text commentary.

“Sports fans are eager to know more about the performance levels of elite athletes, and our AR experience app will open up access to rider and team data like never before in live sport.”

Phil Stuart, Creative Director at PRELOADED, added: “We’re so excited to be working with eSC on the launch of this incredible new sport. Together we are pioneering new audience experiences which could transform the future of live events, underpinned by the latest in immersive tech and hardware.”

eSC is a brand-new category of sport with the championship’s first races taking place in 2022. It will be accessible to all and promote the use of sustainable micromobility transportation in urban areas. Riders will race the specially designed S1-X electric scooter, which has been developed by YCOM, is powered by a Williams Advanced Engineering battery, and can reach speeds of over 100 km/h, on specially designed inner-city circuits.
