We live in a time where play and interactivity have become the dominant medium. Digital experiences are no longer confined to traditional gaming spaces – they are embedded in our daily lives, influencing how we socialise, learn, and work.

Our work is driven by three key forces shaping the future of play:

  • New Use Cases – Play is no longer confined to leisure. It is being integrated into public spaces, education, healthcare, wellness, and beyond. We explore how play can be adopted into new and unexpected contexts to drive engagement and impact.
  • Shifting Audience Behaviors – Every generation has a different relationship with play. Understanding their expectations allows us to create experiences that feel relevant, meaningful, and engaging.
  • Emerging Technologies – Advances in AI, spatial computing, and immersive media are unlocking new possibilities for interaction. We leverage these innovations to push the boundaries of what play can be.

A Generational Shift

Right now, we are witnessing an unprecedented shift in how different generations engage with play:

  • Millennials grew up with games as a core part of their lives. Now raising families, they are seeking more sophisticated, meaningful, and inclusive experiences.
  • Gen Z has grown up immersed in gaming culture. They are moving away from traditional social media and embracing game platforms as spaces for self-expression, collaboration, and community-building.
  • Gen Alpha is the first generation to be fully native to digital and physical play. For them, the boundaries between virtual and real-world play are fluid, creating new expectations around interactivity and engagement.
